Visit Ngo Mon gate in Hue Citadel

Ngo Mon Gate which means the building gate, has the face toward “Horse way”. However, it is a special port because a massive scale and unique architecture. At the same time, this is a very convenient location so visitors can enjoy views of the city of Hue.

On 08.23.1945, the flag of Vietnam Democratic Republic was the first time flying here, signaling the end of the monarchy. Ky Dai is not only the unique architecture, but also a symbol of the imperial city of Hue. Ngo Mon Square is between Ky Dai and Ngo Mon. The place which we look inward, is the Thai Hoa Palace. Ngo Mon Gate is one of the old buildings, typical of rural Ngu Mountain - Huong River.
