Discover the flower villages: Sa Dec (Dong Thap) and Cho Lach (Ben Tre)


In every spring, in the Mekong Delta region, there are the bright colors with red and yellow flowers. It is typical in the wetland like: the apricot blossom, rose, chrysanthemum... but the most notable area is Sa Dec (in the Dong Thap province) and Lach Market (in the Ben Tre province).

The Sa Dec flower village was originated in the history more than 100 years ago. Flowers are vibrant flavor, here; especially, that is in the middle of the spring weather. The flower village area is about 160ha with more than 1200 families. They mainly grow the flowers in the Tan Quy Dong village (it was formed the Tan Quy Dong flower village). This is considered as the largest center of the flower in Mekong Delta region. Going to the Sa Dec flower village at any time of the year, visitors also enjoy the floral delight. However, as mentioned, spring is the best here. The picturesque flowers are always competitive the blooming together to create the specific scents of them.

If visitors arrive at the Cho Lach flower village (Lach Market), visitors are fascinated by the space of a beautiful countryside with many flowers and fruits. Although, The Lach market flower village is not as large as the Sa Dec flower village, but there is no shortage of any flowers. More specifically, you'll like it when visiting the tree garden for harvesting the fruit crops in the Cai Mon land(in the Vinh Thanh commune, the Lach Market District, Ben Tre province). This place is known as the kingdom of fruits in the Mekong River Delta with many specialty fruits. And they are very tasty as mangosteen, Bon Bon, durian, rambutan... Guests can try to eat and feel about the wonderful flavor; then, visitors can purchase as a gift for the loved ones.
