Opening the exhibition with the theme as "Garden Spring Colors" in Can Tho


Situated in a series of activities in the spring, on the morning of Jan, 30th, 2013, the Museum in Can Tho City opened a exhibition about the theme as "Garden Spring Colors".

Program has performed nearly 30 art forms, including folk games, foods and the typical traditional crafts of three ethnics as Vietnamese, Chinese origin and Khmer in the areas of Can Tho City. Visitors not only look at the products to remind the beauty in the traditional New Year, they also meet to exchange with the artists. The goal is to learn more how to make the traditional cake, which is made from rice, radish, ginger, etc.

There are activities such as guidance on methods to be able to display a tray of five fruits (5 main kinds of fruits), begging and giving the custom texts and letters in New Year... This is the Museum's efforts to preserve and promote the values of the intangible cultural heritage.

The program takes place from now until February 1, 2013 (meaning as the ending date is on 21 December, 2012 based on the lunar calendar) in Can Tho Museum. The address is at 6, Phan Dinh Phung Street, Ninh Kieu District.
