After more than three years of expansion and upgrade the road to the top of White Horse, it is expected in April this year, the White Horse resort will reopen to tourists.
Mangers of Bach Ma National Park are working with authorities of the tourism industry of the Thua Thien - Hue province to agree on a plan for recovery of the tourism service here. The unit continues to re-invest and put the items into operation consists of 10 villas with 60 rooms, and one or two restaurants.
This resort was started in September 2009, the works for upgrading the road from the Phu Loc town (Phu Loc district) up to the top of White Horse with a length of 20km; the road surface is 6m wide by concrete; the work with total investment is 193 billions VND. After completion, the road may allow two biggest buses with 30 seats in the opposite directions to take over. It facilitates smoothly for the tourists and local people.

According to previous information, in December 2012, the process of upgrading and expanding the road to go up to be done by 70%; and Bach Ma National Park will be able to welcome visitors in the summer in 2013. And if it is in this April, the work is done based on schedule and announcements, it would be great news for everyone. My hope is also almost come true.

Bach Ma National Park is far from Hue approximately 50km to the south way with an elevation of 1450m above the sea-level. The White Horse resort is discovered in 1932 by a French engineer - Mr. M. Girard. And French people have turned the place into a resort area with a massive system of 139 villas, hotels, swimming pools, roads... However, its bulk has deteriorated.
Therefore, in addition to exploiting the existing infrastructure, Bach Ma National Park is called the organization or the domestic and foreign companies to invest in eco-tourism activities.
