Da Nang welcomes New Year 2013 with the countdown festival.

In the afternoon on 17-Dec-2012, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City held the press conference to introduce the art program is to welcome New Year 2013 with the theme: "I love the Da Nang."

There will be the organized activities such as a large-scale banquet with music, sound system and modern lighting with a LED giant screen to serve 15,000 to 20,000 people will be attended the event from 21 am to after 24 hours.

The first light showing festival in Danang

As expectation, the Danang city will host the international light show festival for the first time in 2014. The David Atkins Enterprises company has made the impressive light’s performances at many major events around the world such as: opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympics 2000, Sports Asia Congress 2006 in Doha (Qatar), the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver (Canada)... The light festival performances took place very successfully in many countries around the world, namely: Berlin (Germany), Ghent (Belgium), Lyon (France)... The Organizing Committee hopes that, The Danang International Fireworks’ competition will become an event that attracts tourists come here.
