The first light showing festival in Danang

As expectation, the Danang city will host the international light show festival for the first time in 2014. Danang City People's Committee said, if the event was successfully held, the city will review held once every two years each even-numbered year. City People's Committee has agreed to the B-Plus Communications Company Limited, organizes the light show contest and the Danang international art images (DILVAC) from 2014.

Accordingly, the competition will be held in late April in 2014, with the consultant of the David Atkins Enterprises Company (Australia) on two days of the last Saturday and Sunday of the Apr/2014. As expecting, DILVAC will have four or five teams. They come from countries around the world; Vietnam is hosts and also attends. The team will be the performance based on audio, light and the landscape of the Danang city. Besides, the competition will be supporting activities such as: art exchange, art lighting exhibition, gala dinner, the tours for people... The David Atkins Enterprises company has made the impressive light’s performances at many major events around the world such as: opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympics 2000, Sports Asia Congress 2006 in Doha (Qatar), the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver (Canada)... The light festival performances took place very successfully in many countries around the world, namely: Berlin (Germany), Ghent (Belgium), Lyon (France)... The Organizing Committee hopes that, The Danang International Fireworks’ competition will become an event that attracts tourists come here.
